Whilst bears are able to eat food outside their standard diet, such as bread as it was shown in this video and occasionally suggested as bait, it's not advised to feed them bread due to causing malnourishment which can lead to the bears feeling sick. https://www.campbelltown.nsw.gov.au/Local-Environment/Bushland-and-Wildlife/Dont-Feed-Our-Wildlife#:~:text=Wildlife%20naturally%20feed%20on%20a,It%27s%20just%20extra%20calories!
