Convicted Felons can still in fact vote in most American states, and in almost all unless currently in prison. In Donald Trump's state of Florida the law only prevents voting if incarcerated, which may be permanent. So Trump is extremely unlikely to lose his voting rights. https://www.nep.uscourts.gov/faq/general/31
