Original Note:

The moon rotates at 10.3mph, and completes one rotation roughly every 27 days. The angular speed of the moon is 2.7*10-6/s, rotating at half a degree per hour, so the astronauts would not land 15.4 feet from where they jumped. OP fails to understand scale and physics. http://labman.phys.utk.edu/phys221core/modules/m6/rotations.html#:~:text=(b)%20The%20angular%20speed%20of,*10%2D6%2Fs. https://cseligman.com/text/sky/moonmotion.htm
