Most already knew they were gay prior to molestation happening in adolescence: https://link.springer.com/article/10.1007/s10508-023-02540-7 Other studies find rates around 20% prior to age 18, and have found femininity in childhood makes gay men targets for abuse: https://journals.sagepub.com/doi/10.1177/1079063215618378
