Original Note:
The story dates back to 1st Sept last year, when in order to control an outbreak of the varroa mite, all bee's nest within a certain part of NSW had to be destroyed. At the end of Sept, the policy was changed to managing the mite, rather than the destruction of bee hives. https://youtu.be/dzrAYlogP_Q?si=V8cY6iL0QV7I2n6i https://www.outbreak.gov.au/current-outbreaks/varroa-mite#:~:text=Varroa%20destructor%20(varroa%20mite)%20attacks,honey%20bee%20pollination%20plant%20industries.
