Original Note:

The number of uninsured increased across all demographics, as 22 million jobs were lost due to Covid by April 2020. For black Americans there was a .9% increase in uncovered persons. The number of uninsured again began to drop prior to Biden taking office in 2021. https://www.kff.org/racial-equity-and-health-policy/issue-brief/health-coverage-by-race-and-ethnicity/ https://www.cbpp.org/research/economy/tracking-the-recovery-from-the-pandemic-recession#:~:text=Total%20nonfarm%20employment%20fell%20by,a%20decade%20of%20job%20growth.
