Original Note:

There is currently no credible evidence to suggest that fluoride in toothpaste causes cancer when used at recommended levels. Fluoride is added to toothpaste and water supplies in many communities because it helps to prevent tooth decay and strengthen tooth enamel. https://www.cancer.org/cancer/risk-prevention/chemicals/water-fluoridation-and-cancer-risk.html https://www.cancercenter.com/risk-factors/fluoride
