The 15M (15.217M) new jobs total is missing important context. The March 2024 figure is 5.824M higher than the Feb. 2020 peak of employment before COVID-19 forced massive shutdowns and layoffs. It’s more accurate to say 9.393M jobs were recovered and 5.824M are new. https://data.bls.gov/timeseries/CES0000000001
