Verstappen was deemed the winner of this race, but the only reason he was able to win was due to the race director Michael Masi breaking rule 48.12 in the 2021 regs If the rules were followed correctly rule 48.15 would have taken effect which would’ve made Hamilton the winner. https://www.fia.com/sites/default/files/2021_formula_1_sporting_regulations_-_iss_13_-_2021-12-08.pdf
