These are contrails from planes. They can look strange due to wind shear. As they fade, contrail cirrus clouds form, which can be long and narrow. This is normal, even on blue-sky days when conditions are right. No worries. www.nasa.gov/mission_pages/CaPE/aerosols/contrails.html
