There is no evidence the Safety of Rwanda bill will “stop the boats”. With only 1-2% of asylum seekers projected to be relocated, it’ll have little effect. https://migrationobservatory.ox.ac.uk/resources/commentaries/qa-the-uks-policy-to-send-asylum-seekers-to-rwanda/ The bill only overrides UK Supreme Court rulings that Rwanda is unsafe, allowing UK to ignore further judgements or laws.
