Misleading Post. Prior to the Play In, seeds 1-8 were guaranteed playoffs. LeBron has never been in the Play In as the 9/10 seed so he would have made the playoffs 3 of 4 years without it but due to the Play In, he has been inconvenienced into playing more games to qualify. https://www.nba.com/news/nba-play-in-tournament
