Original Note:

March 24 did not have an unusually high number of earthquakes, which anyone can confirm in public catalogs. Increased seismometer coverage over time leads to more detections of smaller events, but quakes have not been getting more frequent in recent days/months/years. https://www.usgs.gov/faqs/why-are-we-having-so-many-earthquakes-has-naturally-occurring-earthquake-activity-been https://earthquake.usgs.gov/earthquakes/search https://www.usgs.gov/programs/earthquake-hazards/science/faqs https://scienceexchange.caltech.edu/topics/earthquakes
