Original Note:

Aerodynamic contrails are formed when air flows over the wings of a subsonic aircraft. The air pressure decreases as it passes over the wing, which causes the moist air to cool. This drop in temperature and pressure can cause the air's temperature to drop below the dew point. https://contrailscience.com/aerodynamic-and-rainbow-contrails/ https://contrailscience.com/files/Gierens_Aerodynamic_poster_060625.pdf
