Original Note:
Embryos do not have hearts or heartbeats. A fetus’s heart is generally developed at 10 week; it’s not until 17-20 weeks that there are four functioning chambers. Cardiac tissue may produce “small, irregular twitches” in week 6, often mistakenly called a heartbeat. https://www.nbcnews.com/health/womens-health/heartbeat-bills-called-fetal-heartbeat-six-weeks-pregnancy-rcna24435 https://www.medicalnewstoday.com/articles/when-does-a-fetus-have-a-heartbeat
