De post suggereert dat Nederlandse jongeren vanaf 17 onvrijwillig worden ingezet in het leger, dit is onjuist. De dienstplicht is in Nederland niet afgeschaft maar sinds 1 mei 1997 is de opkomstplicht wel uitgesteld.
