Original Note:
NASA isn't "shooting rockets AT the upcoming solar eclipse", that's not even possible. NASA will launch rockets at a maximum height of 420 kilometers to release some instruments to collect data about the electric and magnetic filed. The atmosphere is 10.000 km high. https://science.nasa.gov/solar-system/skywatching/nasa-to-launch-sounding-rockets-into-moons-shadow-during-solar-eclipse/
