"Kapo" is not just a term referring to prisoners in Nazi concentration camps who served as supervisors, it is also a common surname. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kapo_(disambiguation) Stephen Kapos would've been born in 1938, and so would not have been old enough to be a Kapo in a concentration camp anyway.
