Proposed CN(Agreeable Pistachio Crane), "Toast" is simply sliced bread browned on both sides by heat: https://www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/toast You don't necessarily need a "toaster" to "toast" a slice of bread. You can "toast" bread in a pan. It is called pan-fried "toast," and your note is completely irrelevant.
