Many Jews are native to Palestine, and also several waves of Jewish immigrants did come through. Palestinians (Different religions and ethnicities) welcomed Jewish migrants, with violence entrenching only following what was seen as attempts to colonise, not settlement. https://www.un.org/unispal/document/auto-insert-206581/
