What is being seen is metal sparks as certain areas are under high strain before failure. https://www.practicalmachinist.com/forum/threads/question-sparking-potential-of-metals.165643/ The light at the top of the bridge is also seen in an artefact. Explosives or thermite do not appear like this and this appears to be normal given the failure stresses https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-tees-58615346.amp
