Original Note:
There has never been a ‘Prime Minister’ of Ireland. The head of government is known as the ‘Taoiseach’ (tee-shuc). Leo Varadkar’s speech in the White House was delivered on Sunday 17th March not yesterday and has no correlation with his resignation. https://www.gov.ie/en/speech/14ff7-speech-by-taoiseach-leo-varadkar-td-white-house-st-patricks-day-shamrock-ceremony-and-reception/
