Original Note:
Clouds that appear to have a "motor oil" or iridescent-like sheen to them are often referred to as iridescent clouds or rainbow clouds. This phenomenon occurs when the sunlight is diffracted or scattered by very small water droplets or ice crystals within the cloud. https://www.nationalgeographic.com/science/article/130718-rainbow-cloud-weather-photography https://www.newsweek.com/rare-rainbow-clouds-spotted-scotland-uk-1856223
