Original Note:

Aircraft naturally follow the curve of the Earth because air becomes thinner as it goes higher. The wings will no longer create enough lift for it to go higher, once it reaches it's service ceiling. https://aviation.stackexchange.com/questions/27603/do-pilots-adjust-the-aircrafts-flight-path-to-allow-for-the-curvature-of-the-ea http://walter.bislins.ch/bloge/index.asp?page=How+Airplanes+follow+the+Curvature+of+the+Earth%2C+Physics+Simulation https://www.usatoday.com/story/news/factcheck/2022/10/31/fact-check-false-claim-straight-and-level-flying-proves-earth-flat/10624777002/
