The environmental conditions in the video are different than those of volcanic lava flow. Lava would run from the source and engulf the entire area trapping the watermelon beneath. Liquid glass touching the surface for seconds is not a comparable environmental condition https://www.usgs.gov/programs/VHP/lava-flows-destroy-everything-their-path
