This occurred in Aug, 2023. The virus being referred to is the Eastern equine encephalitis virus: https://www.cnn.com/2023/08/22/health/eastern-equine-encephalitis/index.html#:~:text=Eastern%20equine%20encephalitis%20is%20a%20rare%20but%20serious,which%20spreads%20through%20the%20bite%20of%20infected%20mosquitoes. Between six to eight cases of this virus are annually reported in the United States.
