Original Note:

The White Russian first appeared in 1949 which is which is 26 years after the end of the Bolshevik revolution. The name is attributed to the cream added to a Black Russian. Neither drink has any known Russian origin, both are so-named due to vodka being the primary ingredient. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/White_Russian_(cocktail)
