Although voted on the same day, Democrat (blue) and Republican (red) ballots for Michigan’s presidential primary elections are different. There is no way voting “uncommitted” on the blue ballot affects the results of the red ballot or is a support for Trump. https://www.michigan.gov/sos/elections
