New Zealand will continue to have some of the strictest regulation of Tobacco in the world, including plain packaging, no advertising & no displays. The only thing being repealed is the not yet enforced prohibition law. It is incorrect to say "people could die as a result". https://www.act.org.nz/nanny_state_prohibition_will_create_black_market
