This photo is from Galicia in 1914, not Germany at the end of World War One as the post suggests. The jewish gentlemen in the photo are also most likley not mocking the german soldiers, but rather celebrating their liberation from Czarist atrocities committed by russia. https://www.lbi.org/exhibitions/german-jews-eastern-front-wwi-modernism-meets-tradition/
