The footage of a spaceship landing shown on tv was a visual aid depiction to give viewers at a home an idea since this was the first ever successful voyage. The footage by the astronauts themselves after exiting the spacecraft are in fact real, and the moon landing did happen. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Apollo_11
