Original Note:

Theres a rare phenomenon, where a chicken can lay an abnormally larger egg than usual and an entire fully formed egg could be inside. This is called counter-peristalsis contraction and happens when an egg travels backwards in the oviduct and becomes embedded in another egg. https://www.cacklehatchery.com/what-cause-a-double-shell-egg/
