Israel has been illegally occupying Palestine for years. https://academic.oup.com/ejil/article/31/3/1055/5903619?login=false I struggle to see the relevance of a conflict that happened 1400 years ago while Israel is currently, as in right now, killing tens of thousands of Palestinian citizens who have lived there since birth.
