Original Note:

Venus can be seen in evening or morning sky just before sunrise or after sunset. While being “in front” of us, meaning between us and the Sun, it's also well off to the side, never more than 45 degrees from the Sun. Similar thing happens with Mercury. https://flatearth.ws/mercury-venus https://www.quora.com/How-do-you-see-Venus-at-night-when-at-night-the-Earth-would-be-facing-away-from-Venus#:~:text=You%20can%20see%20Venus%20in,well%20off%20to%20the%20side.
