It is well known that Hamas is using hospitals as military cover. https://www.reuters.com/world/middle-east/biden-says-gaza-hospitals-must-be-protected-2023-11-14/ Hospitals are protected using armed conflict unless they are used for military purposes. Since this is the case in Gaza, the military activity of Israel is legal.
