Original Note:

The plane that crashed in 1945 was the B-25, on 9/11 it was the B-767-200 The 767s wingspan is 47.5m, more than twice than the B-25s (20m). The empty weight of the B-767 is 80 Tons, 10 times the B-25s (8.8t). Therefore it makes total sense that the B-767 caused more damage. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/North_American_B-25_Mitchell#Specifications_(B-25H) https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Boeing_767#Specifications
