Original Note:
In Islam, Jesus is believed to be the penultimate prophet and messenger of God and "the Messiah" sent to guide the Children of Israel. In the Quran, Jesus is described as the Messiah, the "Word" and the "Spirit" of God, not even Muhammad, is given this particular honour. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jesus_in_Islam https://www.whyislam.org/jesus-pbuh/ https://www.theguardian.com/commentisfree/belief/2009/dec/23/religion-islam#:~:text=For%20Muslims%2C%20however%2C%20the%20Virgin%20Birth%20is%20not%20evidence%20of%20Jesus%27s%20divinity%2C%20only%20of%20his%20unique%20importance%20as%20a%20prophet%20and%20a%20messiah.
