Original Note:
This is an MRI Image from an 18 year old boy with an disseminated cysticercosis. It's set off by a parasitic pork tapeworm called T. solium which normally lives in the human colon but can also infest other organs. It spreads through uncooked meat and feces (on vegetables). https://www.neurology.org/doi/10.1212/WNL.0000000000001152 https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Taenia_solium?wprov=sfla1
