Hamas had previously claimed hostage Noa Marciano was killed in a Israeli airstrike but she was found to have been executed in Shifa hospital: https://www.timesofisrael.com/liveblog_entry/idf-says-noa-marciano-was-murdered-by-hamas-in-shifa-not-killed-by-israeli-airstrike/ Hamas is anyway responsible for the safety and wellbeing of the hostages and not to use them as human shields against airstrikes.
