This map is very misleading. All the colors on the map make it look like many countries are sanctioned. But if the U.S. sanctions an individual it hardly has any effect on the economy as a whole. Only 7 of the countries on this map are seriously sanctioned by the USA. https://www.state.gov/economic-sanctions-policy-and-implementation/
