This is false. The RATE of increase of inflation is slower. Inflation has not decreased at all. In order for inflation to be "lowest since May 2021" CPI would be a negative value. A more appropriate term might be "disinflation" but that is a claim which is also disputable. https://www.bls.gov/news.release/pdf/cpi.pdf
