Original Note:

Perpetual motion as described isn’t possible. Plus most EVs have what’s called “regenerative breaking” which reverses the flow of energy in the motors to recharge the batteries when breaking. The solution in the post will never generate more energy than it has used. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Perpetual_motion https://www.energy.gov/energysaver/how-regenerative-brakes-work#:~:text=Regenerative%20brakes%20work%20by%20reversing,over%20time%20when%20used%20regularly.
