These aircraft are flying at different altitudes. Different altitudes have different pressure, temperature and weather conditions which result in contrails. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Contrail Separation minima rules would prevent these aircraft flying this close at the same altitude https://skybrary.aero/articles/separation-standards#:~:text=ICAO%20specify%20minimum%20vertical%20separation,at%20which%20the%20rule%20changes.
