Brett Spooner (Brianna Ghey) was not murdered because of their trans identity. To use this as the reason for their death is to ignore the evidence put to the judge & the jury. https://www.theguardian.com/uk-news/2023/dec/20/why-brianna-ghey-police-quickly-ruled-out-transphobia-as-motive The police ruled out a transphobic hate crime early as there was no evidence of this.
