The first puppy, who has a dark belly, is completely stiff, which means that it died some time ago, since rigor mortis has already set in. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rigor_mortis Reanimation in this case is impossible. The "reanimated" puppy has a white belly and therefore cannot be the same animal.
