Original Note:

Households with Duel income and No Kids (DINK), currently pay higher taxes when compared to households with the same tax circumstances with the only difference being kids. This is due to the various tax credits and deductions linked to children / dependents. https://www.irs.gov/credits-deductions/individuals/child-tax-credit https://www.irs.gov/credits-deductions/individuals/child-and-dependent-care-credit-information https://www.irs.gov/taxtopics/tc607 https://www.irs.gov/credits-deductions/individuals/earned-income-tax-credit-eitc
