Original Note:

There is no such thing as a permanent Dark side of the Moon. The Moon rotates wrt Sun once per month. So each place has a sunlight lunar day. Some of the Far side of the Moon can be seen 'with your own eyes' due to Lunar Libration. 59% of surface can be seen from Earth. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lunar_day https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Libration
