Nabiac before European settlement was heavily forested country, interspersed with swamps. No grassland for grazing. It's doubtful any practical farming could have been achieved since Indigenous people did not have bullocks, ploughs, saws, that settlers had to work the land. https://nabiac.com/a-historical-perspective/
