As per Alberta NDP Constitution section 1.02 https://www.albertandp.ca/sites/default/files/alberta_ndp_constitution_0.pdf The Alberta NDP is a section of the federal NDP which currently has a formal support agreement with the federal Liberal Party, and therefore supports it as per that agreement.
