Hamas is only designated a terrorist group by the west i.e UK, Canada, US, EU https://www.state.gov/foreign-terrorist-organizations/ https://apnews.com/article/hamas-gaza-palestinian-authority-israel-war-ed7018dbaae09b81513daf3bda38109a The Global South regards Hamas as a resistant group. Which is similar to Nelson Mandela and his group being designated terrorists when they came up against European Colonists in South Africa.
